LEICA APO-TELYT-R f/4 280mm
This
apochromatically corrected lens with internal focusing is distortion-free, and
delivers maximum resolution throughout the aperture range, providing accurate colours
and optimum contrast - even at maximum aperture. Thanks to its rubberized lens
hood, it is protected against damage from knocks and jolts, and together with
the tripod attachment it makes an ideal lens for animal and landscape
photography. Last but not least, it is also capable of shooting over long
distances, delivering close up views of distant subjects. Thanks to its compact
size, it is easy to shoot handheld with this lens. Its focusing range down to
1.7 meters (5ft 7in) permits a reproduction ratio of 1:5. The LEICA
MACRO-ADAPTER-R turns it into a fully functional macro lens. In combination with
the LEICA APO-EXTENDER-R 1.4x and 2x, it becomes, respectively a
high-performance 5.6/400 mm and 8.0/560 mm lens. With the LEICA APO-EXTENDER-R
2x a magnification ratio of 1:2 can be attained.
