LEICA SUMMILUX-R f/1.4 50mm
A
high-speed lens with extraordinary richness of image contrast over the entire
aperture range. Even wide open at f/1.4 its performance is exemplary and
perfectly useable. Stopping down by one or two apertures improves the initially
high imaging quality only to a minor degree. And the wide f/1.4 aperture
provides a very bright, crisp viewing image and enhances the ability to use
selective focus. In addition to the outstanding optical qualities of this
standard 50mm lens, it also offers a great deal of operational flexibility based
on its high speed and compact size.
